This section provides hiring and recruitment resources for the Department of the Navy and the U.S. Federal Government, along with pay and benefit information for civilian employees and personnel information for active duty and reserve service members.

Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS)
The DFAS web site provides information about payment services of the U.S. Department of Defense to military members, retired military members and annuitants, civilian employees, and contractors and vendors. Pay charts, tax statement information and myPay information are also available.

The NPC web site provides information about careers, records management, support and services, selection boards, and important messages for officers, enlisted, and reserve service members.

Hot Information

The Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs have made it easier and quicker for Veterans to obtain a copy of their disability letter and DD-214 for preference in federal employment. Specifically, Veterans can get instantaneous access to their VA letter of disability and access to their DD-214 on file through eBenefits.

The Department of the Navy, through its contract with EDS for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), is entitled to Microsoft's Home Use Program (HUP) as a volume license owner with Microsoft. The HUP allows government civilian and uniformed personnel presently on NMCI, to obtain a licensed copy of Microsoft Office, Project or Visio desktop applications to install and use on a home computer if these products are also installed on their NMCI computer.

Contractors are ineligible to participate. Participants must have a valid NMCI email address in order to participate; e.g., John.Doe@navy.mil, Jane.Doe@usmc.mil, or Jack.Doe@pacom.mil.
