About

Naval Support Activity Charleston is aligned with the CNIC Mission, Vision, and Guiding Principles.  We exist to enable and sustain warfighter readiness from the shore.  The warfighter encompasses three facets:  the Fleet, the Fighter, and the Family as defined below.

Fleet represents the operating forces of the Navy.  CNIC ensures all Installation requirements necessary to train and operate the Fleet (such as ports and airfields) are maintained and ready regardless of tempo.

Fighter represents the men and women of the operating forces.  CNIC ensures the Installations' ability to facilitate the manning, training and equipping of the Navy's fighting force.

Family represents the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families.  To ensure our fighting force is supported on all fronts, our family and community services,  housing and other support services provide the peace of mind to allow Sailors to operate effectively.
