Religious Programs

The chapel provides Roman Catholic Masses and Protestant Worship Services.

The Religious Ministries Department coordinates religious, social, and educational events for over 5,000 people every month.

The chapel staff also conducts special programs and activities throughout the year. See the base newspaper, The Periscope, or call the chapel staff for current events. Special events should be scheduled three months in advance (i.e. weddings, retirements, classes etc.).

Chapel Services:

  • Daily Roman Catholic Mass: 11:00 a.m. (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)
  • First Friday Catholic Mass: 6:00 p.m. (every first Friday)
  • Saturday Catholic Mass: 5:00 p.m. (Confession, 4:30 p.m.)
  • Sunday Catholic Mass: 9:00 a.m.
  • Sunday Protestant Worship: 10:30 a.m.
  • Sunday CCD: 10:45 a.m.
  • Monday RCIA: 6:30 p.m.

Note: For after hours emergencies, contact the duty chaplain through the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay duty office: 912-573-2020.

The main chapel is located directly across from the Navy Exchange at 1220 USS Daniel Boone Drive.
