Air Operations
 

The NAS Jacksonville Air Operations Department maintains NAS Jacksonville, Naval Outlying Field Whitehouse, the Air Mobility Command Passenger Terminal and detachment hangars and spaces to contribute to the mission of NAS Jax of enabling naval aviation warfighting readiness by supporting the fleet, fighter and family.

For Civilian Aircraft Landing Permits, please complete the DD 2400, 2401 and 2402 forms and forward the information to the NAS Jacksonville Operations Duty Officer at JAXS_NAS_OperDutyOff@navy.mil or fax to (904) 542-2514.

Port Operations

The Port Operations Division conducts day/night boat operations in support of training for the Navy Surface Rescue Swimmer School and Jacksonville-area based helicopter squadrons. The Port Operations Division additionally provides support to actual search and rescue missions in the local area. The division maintains NAS Jacksonville Security Department small crafts and maintains response capability in the event of an oil spill originating from NAS Jacksonville.
