PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICE

The primary mission of the NAS Jacksonville Public Affairs Office is to tell the stories of the station warfighter Sailors and Department of Defense civilians to Northeast Florida citizenry and to audiences across the nation and world to continuously promote the Chief of Naval Operations Global Maritime Strategy. Civilian and military newspapers, magazines, radio and TV stations and Internet sites are just some of the many mass communication mediums through which we communicate.
The NAS Jacksonville Public Affairs Office gets the air station's story out by providing critical access and escort to civilian media. Whether facilitating interviews, scheduling and executing photo shoots, issuing press releases or responding to media queries, we strive to provide the most complete, accurate and timely availability of information about our activities consistent with operational security and the privacy of our service members and their families.
