A free program designed to improve the quality of life for Navy and Marine Corps families. The Society’s Visiting Nurses are available for home, clinic, or hospital visits for the purpose of…

Providing health education and resource information.

Promoting continuity between patient, doctors, and military or community resources.

Society Visiting Nurses can address questions about postpartum or newborn care; post surgical follow up care; on-going medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, respiratory conditions etc.

Programs and services are provided by a dedicated staff of employees and volunteers. Volunteers receive specific training and tools to provide service to our clients. Our volunteers are reimbursed for mileage and childcare.
