The Public Affairs Office, located in Bldg.1401, provides public affairs support to NAS Whiting Field and Training Air Wing FIVE. The office produces a base newsletter, The Whiting Tower; coordinates tours and VIP visits; supports command participation in numerous community programs; maintains liaison with local and regional media representatives; administers the Fleet Hometown News Program; and manages community and media relations during accidents, incidents and occurrences involving personnel attached to Whiting Field and Training Air Wing FIVE.
