PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICE

The primary mission of the NAS Jacksonville Public Affairs Office (PAO) is to tell the story of NAS Jax to the world, and continuously promote the Chief of Naval Operations Global Maritime Strategy. TV and radio stations, social media, and websites are just some of the many mass communication mediums through which we communicate.
We tell our story, in part, by providing critical access and escorting civilian media onboard the station. Whether facilitating interviews, scheduling and executing photo shoots, issuing press releases, or responding to media queries, we strive to provide the most complete, accurate, and timely information about our activities, consistent with operational security and the privacy of our service members and their families.
