P8A Poseidons NAS Jacksonville hosts seven active P-8A/P-3C squadrons, three reserve squadrons and five helicopter squadrons. Additional major tenants include Commander, Navy Region Southeast; Fleet Readiness Center Southeast; Naval Hospital Jacksonville; Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast; Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville and Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Eleven. Some 120-plus other tenant activities also call the station home. NAS Jacksonville is one of the largest employers in the area and contributes to the growth and prosperity of Northeast Florida with an economic impact in excess of $2 billion annually.
