Current Disaster Preparedness Information
Disaster Services: Assistance is provided to the community in times of natural disasters such as tornadoes, fires, floods, and hurricanes.
Single Family Assistance: (usually due to residential fires): Includes housing, food and clothing allowances for immediate needs. After the Red Cross office closes, disaster assistance can be provided via the Red Cross.

Armed Forces Emergency Services: Provided to military families whose sponsors are assigned to Kings Bay.

Health and Safety Courses: CPR and First Aid & Safety courses are offered three times per month either on base or in the community. Other courses such as baby sitting training and lifeguard training are also offered upon demand or need.
Dental Assistant Program: Offered to spouses of military personnel assigned to Kings Bay in conjunction with the dental clinic. At this time, one eight-month course is offered every fall to eight applicants.
Scrubby Bear: Red Cross hygiene program offered to pre-school through third-grade students free of cost to the community. The instructors are trained volunteers interested in working with young children.

- Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
We are located in Bldg. 1051, the Fleet and Family Support Center building (near Personnel Support Detachment and Navy Exchange complex).
