Environmental Support

NASCC Environmental Policy

The mission of the NAVFAC SE PW Environmental Division is to ensure that the station complies with all appropriate environmental regulations, laws and Navy instructions. We do this by proactively providing professional environmental management, guidance, training, inspections, and consultation with Navy and tenant commands and personnel.

Our goals are to preserve natural and cultural resources, and to support the Navy mission.  Executive Order 13148, "Greening the Government through Leadership in Environmental Management," mandates the establishment and implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS).  The Environmental Division uses the EMS framework in addressing the effects of operations and processes on the environment.  We work continuously to improve business practices to minimize impacts to the environment.
