Mission Statement

To implement Navy policy supporting operational readiness by enabling Navy and DOD personnel to establish and maintain a safe and healthful work environment. The Safety Department is structured to provide direct consultation and liaison to the commanding officer and tenant commands. It provides leadership, guidance, technical direction and resources to protect people, prevent mishaps, and achieve regulatory compliance, while concurrently serving as the activity focal point on all occupational safety and health related matters.
