Operations

The NAS JRB New Orleans operations department provides weaponry, aircraft flight planning, aircraft mission support, firefighting capabilities, and electronic equipment maintenance.

The operations department is made up of five divisions and more than 200 personnel. The five divisions are: Air Traffic Control (ATC), Firehouse, Ground Electronics Maintenance Division (GEMD), Transient Line (T-Line), and Weapons.
