Training Air Wing TWO provides Strike training to Student Naval Aviators. The Wing’s mission is conducted at Naval Air Station Kingsville by Training Squadron TWENTY ONE (VT-21) and Training Squadron TWENTY TWO (VT-22). The Squadrons “wings” approximately 130 Naval aviators each year, sending them to fly tactical jet aircraft in Carrier Air Wings and Marine Air Wings deployed throughout the world.
Reservists, Full Time Support Officers and Marine Corps Reservists integrate seamlessly with their active duty counterparts and account for 20 percent of all Wing sortie production.
