A native of San Jose, California, CAPT Elizabeth “Beth” Regoli graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She holds a Master of Science in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego’s School of Business Administration as well as a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.
A career Naval Aviator, CAPT Regoli’s operational assignments include tours with the “Fighting Marlins” of Patrol Squadron (VP) 40 in Whidbey Island, Washington; Flag Lieutenant for Commander, Carrier Strike Group THREE aboard the USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74); Department Head with the “Old Buzzards” of Special Projects Patrol Squadron (VPU) 1, Jacksonville, Florida; and Commanding Officer of the VP-9 “Golden Eagles,” Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Ashore, CAPT Regoli’s assignments include instructor duty with the “Boomers” of Training Squadron (VT) 27 in Corpus Christi, Texas; Naval Military Aide to Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Washington, District of Columbia; and Battalion Officer and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program Manager at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland.
CAPT Regoli assumed command of Naval Air Station Key West in May 2022.
CAPT Regoli has accumulated over 4,300 flight hours. Her decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal (six Strike Flight awards), Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal (two awards), as well as numerous unit commendations and awards.
