Senior Chief House is a native of California. He enlisted the Navy in June of 1999 and completed Basic Training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois. He has held a variety of sea and shore assignments during his service.
His previous tours include USS Lake Champlain (CG 57), USS Elliot (DD 967), Amphibious Construction Battalion ONE, USS Kidd (DDG 100), USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53), Arco (ARDM 5), USS Typhoon (PC 5), USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114) and Naval Support Activity Bahrain.
Currently, he is assigned as the Port Operations Department Leading Chief Petty Officer and acting Command Senior Enlisted Leader of Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Senior Chief House is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy and holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Central Texas College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University.
His personal decorations include the four Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, nine Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, two Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medals and various unit and campaign awards.
