Public Affairs Office

The Public Affairs Office is responsible for the conduct of public affairs – internal information, public information/community relations and planning onboard Naval Air Station Pensacola. The public affairs officer acts as the NAS Pensacola official spokesperson with the media and general public and is actively involved in communications issues and message delivery with internal and external audiences.  To contact the NAS Pensacola Public Affairs Officer, please call 850-452-4436.

The NAS Pensacola Public Affairs Offices are located in the NAS Pensacola Headquarters, Bldg. 1500, 150 Hase Road, Pensacola, Florida, 32508. The Photo studio is located in the NAS Pensacola Headquarters, Bldg. 1500 on the third deck. 

Media with questions should contact the Public Affairs Office at 850-452-4436. Call 850-418-5185 if your inquiry is urgent in nature or after normal working hours.

Official Military Photo Studio: NAS Pensacola Headquarters, Bldg. 1500, Third Deck, 150 Hase Road Pensacola, Florida, 32508. Open most Fridays*, 0900-1000 for official portraits and board photographs.

NOTE: Please visit between 0900-1000 for official photos with flags (chain of command display photos, biography images, etc.) or official board photographs with white background (typically in khaki uniform for promotion boards, award packages and special duty assignment packages). *The photo studio is occasionally closed due to holidays or special events. Calling ahead to ensure the studio will be open is recommended (850-452-4436).

An appointment is not necessary for service on Fridays. Simply arrive during the designated time to have your photograph completed. The point of contact for the photo studio is Mr. Jason Bortz, Public Affairs Officer, who can be reached at 850-452-4436. Again, the photo studio is occasionally closed due to holidays or special events. Calling ahead to ensure the studio will be open is recommended. If a photographer is not in the studio when you arrive, please visit the Public Affairs Office, Room 241 on the second deck of Bldg. 1500 for assistance.
