Telephonic updates to your DEERS record may be accomplished by calling 1-800-361-2508.
Note: We provide I.D. Card services during Reservists' drill weekends. Remember though, that you, as the sponsor, must be present whenever your dependents visit the I.D. Card Office, unless they have a Special Power of Attorney that specifically authorizes them to obtain I.D. Cards. Another exception, in which you as the sponsor do not need to be present with your family member(s), is if you have used RAPIDS Self Service (RSS), which is now I.D. Card Office Online (https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/milconnect) to update and verify your family member(s) information.  In order for you to verify your DEERS information via I.D. Card Office Online (which replaced RSS) you, as the sponsor, must have a DoD CAC and have a CAC-enabled personal computer. Once the information is verified via I.D. Card Office Online, all of your family members need to go to the nearest I.D. Card issuing facility to obtain their I.D. Cards.
